Over 194 crore 92 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
The Union Health Ministry said, over 15 lakh eight thousand vaccine doses were administered yesterday. A total of eight thousand 329 new COVID cases were recorded in the last 24 hours as several states are witnessing surge in the cases. India's active caseload increased to 40 thousand 370.
The recovery rate is currently at 98.69 per cent and a total of four thousand 216 COVID patients recovered in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry, 10 deaths were reported in last 24 hours.
