The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has increased the health licence fee for grant/renewal of various trade licences of restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, lodging houses, small stalls and other kiosks selling food items, with effect from April 1.

The health licence fee of five-star hotels and small lodging houses has increased from Rs 75,300 to Rs 80,600, while that of lodging houses with more than 100 beds has increased from Rs 31,000 to Rs 32,100.

The NDMC has also hiked the one-time fee for issuing new health licences under all the new categories except lodging houses and hotels.
