India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage crosses 143 crore 75 lakh mark

India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 143 crore 75 lakh mark. Out of the total vaccination, more than 84 crore 13 lakh vaccine doses have been given as first dose, while over 59 crore 61 lakh doses have been administered as second dose.

The Health Ministry said, more than 57 lakh doses of COVID vaccine were administered yesterday.

As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, the Centre has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
