India administers over 168.47 crore vaccine doses under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
Recovery Rate stands at 95.39 percent
Over 168 crore 47 lakh vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 55 lakh 58 thousand doses were administered yesterday.
The Recovery Rate is currently at 95.39 percent. Over 2 lakh 46 thousand recoveries in the last 24 hours increase total Recoveries to over 4 crore. India's Active caseload currently stands at 14 lakh 35 thousand 569. Active cases stand at 3.42 percent. Over one lakh 49 thousand new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The daily positivity rate is at 9.27 percent and Weekly Positivity Rate is at 12.03 percent. One thousand 72 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. Over 73 crore 58 lakh tests have been conducted so far. Over 16 lakh 11 thousand tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that Young India's historic effort continues and in just one month, 65 percent of children aged 15 to 18 received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In a tweet, Mr Mandaviya said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, world's largest vaccination campaign is creating new records.
