Around 136 crore 66 lakh doses of COVID vaccines administered in country so far

Union Government has said that around 136 crore 66 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 62 lakh six thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, eight thousand 706 Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.38 percent. More than three crore 41 lakh 71 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.
The country reported seven thousand 145 new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India's active caseload is 84 thousand 565. Presently the active cases constitute 0.24 percent of the country's total positive cases, which is lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 66 crore 28 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
