Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has tested positive for Covid, the party announced on Thursday.
The news of Priyanka's infection comes a day after her mother, party chief Sonia Gandhi, tested positive.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted "After developing Covid like symptoms, Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra got herself tested. She has tested positive and has quarantined herself. We thank all the Congress leaders & workers who have called in with their good wishes."
Priyanka tweeted she had mild symptoms.
Priyanka's brother, former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, had tested positive for Covid in April last year after campaigning for elections in multiple states.
Priyanka had gone into isolation in April last year after her husband, Robert Vadra, had become infected.
