Advanced center for Asthma care launched in Chennai

The Advanced Center for Asthma Clinic was inaugurated at Gleneagles Hospital in Chennai.

Alongside Dr. Nageshwar Rao, CEO of Gleneagles Hospital Chennai, and Dr. Suresh Sagadevan, Clinical Lead Consultant & Interventional Pulmonologist, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai, Dr. J Radhakrishnan, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, officially opened the clinic. 

The clinic aims to provide comprehensive care for patients suffering from severe asthma, a condition that significantly impacts quality of life and can lead to life-threatening complications if not managed effectively.

It will have a multidisciplinary approach involving pulmonologists, allergists, and respiratory therapists for holistic care and will have a cutting-edge technology to diagnose and classify asthma severity.

Personalized Treatment Plans Incorporating medication, biologics, lifestyle modifications, and patient education are the key features of the clinic.
