Tommy Hilfiger, a leading designer lifestyle brand under PVH’s umbrella, with Joe Lamastra’s Hilfiger Ventures has teamed up with Tilting Point in unveiling a fashion video game.

Scheduled for release on mobile platforms in January 2024, this game will be accessible on iOS and Android devices, as well as through Netflix accounts for subscribers.

Named ‘FashionVerse,’ the game will host recurring two-week virtual events known as ‘Pop-Ups,’ collaborating with prominent fashion entertainment brands, offering players an immersive experience in fashion styling within their unique virtual worlds. These Pop-Ups will showcase the latest collections from partnering brands, rewarding participants who complete specific challenges.

Hilfiger’s brainchild, FashionVerse, stemmed from his vision to revolutionise fashion interaction through a dynamic, community-based gaming experience utilising technology. Developed by Brandible, the game employs AI to craft lifelike avatars, settings, and props, fostering a virtual landscape.

Within FashionVerse, players engage in design challenges to curate fashion ensembles, unlocking diverse clothing styles and staying abreast of real-world fashion trends through state-of-the-art AI technology, rewarding their triumphs with exclusive rewards.

Expressing his ambition to democratise fashion, Hilfiger stated, “It’s been a life goal of mine to make fashion more accessible… bring everyone together into one community, providing a more immersive experience.”

Kevin Segalla, founder and CEO of cross-promotion platform Tilting Point, shared enthusiasm for FashionVerse, highlighting its potential to empower players to explore personal style and connect with the fashion realm in new ways. The game is also poised to collaborate with additional fashion brands, expanding its gaming universe.
