Saudi Arabia recently witnessed a historic milestone during Day 2 of the Red Sea Fashion Week, when models walked the ramp wearing swimsuits.
The event featured designers showcasing their latest swimwear collection during a poolside show.
It is a groundbreaking affair as the country is known for its conservative dress codes.
On Day 2 of the Red Sea Fashion Week, Moroccan designer Yasmina Qanzal and designer labels Sara Altwaim and Eau Swimwear showed their collections.
While Yasmina's show embraced fabrics and colours, Sara Altwaim's show had models walk the runway in lace-embroidered dresses and thigh-high slit silhouettes.
During the Eau show, models slipped into one-piece swimsuits in shades of red, pink, green and blue.
Most models wore swimsuits that exposed their shoulders, some had partially exposed midriffs, and others featured plunging necklines with body-hugging silhouettes.
