The Lyst Index, a quarterly fashion report, has recently published its findings for the fourth quarter of 2023. Drawing on data from over 200 million annual users, Lyst, a fashion technology company, examines various factors to identify the most popular brands and products.
The Lyst Index utilises a formula that takes into account the nuanced behaviours of shoppers, analysing searches conducted on and off the platform, product views, actual sales, social media mentions, and global activity and engagement statistics over a three-month period.
After extensive analysis, the results are in. Prada emerges as the top brand of Q4, 2023, experiencing a 41 per cent year-on-year surge in searches.
Miu Miu closely follows, securing second place and significantly influencing global trend cycles.
Other top brands include Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Moncler, Saint Laurent, Versace, Jacquemus, Burberry, and Valentino.
Despite facing challenges from recent controversies, Balenciaga has managed to climb two spots to the 12th position. The Row has also made its debut on the Lyst Index hottest brands ranking, claiming the 18th spot with a remarkable 93 per cent increase in demand in the final quarter. Victoria Beckham has entered The Lyst Index as a Breakout Brand to watch, driven by a surge in searches following the Beckham documentary on Netflix.
