Mouni Roy was a stunning Sabyasachi bride for her Bengali wedding to Suraj Nambiar in Goa. The Naagin actress, who has been tight-lipped about her relationship, married Suraj Nambiar in two intimate ceremonies in Goa this week. The first ceremony was a typical South-Indian wedding, for which the actress dressed as a traditional South-Indian bride in a classic white and red silk saree with stunning gold temple jewellery.
The 36-year-old Gold actress, who is Bengali, also had a Bengali wedding and wore a regal red attire by Bengali designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The actress wore a classic red outfit with rich gold embroidery on the blouse and a plunging neckline, synonymous with Sabyasachi's label. Her flared lehenga was adorned with floral embroidered gold motifs and a zardozi and hand-embroidered heavy thick gold border. The actress wore it with a classic red veil inscribed with the words Aayushmati Bhava, which roughly translates to "being blessed."
The appearance of an Indian bride isn't complete without her jewellery. Mouni, too, chose for a glamorous gold matha patti, a smaller nath heavy gold earrings with polki and emeralds, and a matching choker necklace. Roy's bridal look was completed with gold and red bangles and gajra flowers in her hair around her sleek bun.
Blended shimmery smokey eyes to enhance her huge almond-shaped eyes, filled-in brows, a flawless base, flushed cheeks, and lovely pink lips were all part of the actress' bridal makeup.
We think Mouni Roy looked stunning as a Bengali bride in Sabyasachi attire on her wedding day!
