Kiara Advani channels desi Barbie as showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock’s India Couture Week show

Kiara Advani stole the spotlight in her desi Barbie outfit as the showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock’s India Couture Week (ICW) show.

As the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor walked down the runway, all eyes were on her captivating attire from Falguni Shane Peacock’s ‘Renaissance Reverie’ collection, which was showcased during the opening show of FDCI’s Hyundai India Couture Week 2023 on Tuesday.

Kiara stole the show for the designer, whose latest collection was on display at the fashion extravaganza.

While the models wore stunning traditional wear from Falguni Shane Peacock’s new collection, Kiara brought desi Barbie magic to the runway in a hot pink bralette and trendy lehenga skirt combo.

In addition to a striking bralette with wide shoulder straps, Kiara’s hot pink outfit featured a plunging V-neckline that accentuated her décolletage. The asymmetric cropped hem that bared her midriff was adorned with beaded fringes, backless detailing and sparkling sequinned ornaments.

Kiara paired the top with a lehenga skirt that had a snatched high-rise waistband, a figure-hugging silhouette and a daring thigh-high slit on the front.

The bodice of the skirt was decorated with shimmering sequin accents in abstract designs, and an extended train at the back.

For brides who enjoy being adventurous and don’t mind taking the risqué path, the outfit is a perfect choice for wedding cocktail parties.

The actor chose to wear only holographic peep-toe high heels with the outfit, ditching all other accessories. Her makeup comprised of flushed cheekbones, dazzling highlighter, blush pink lipstick, darkened eyebrows, shimmering eye shadow, heavy mascara and subtle contouring.

With her tresses styled in a side-parted, open, wavy hairdo that was lightly ruffled, she rounded off the look.
