On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Air Force Wives Welfare Association [AFWWA (Local)] Air Force Station Jamnagar organised a ‘Free Eye Checkup Camp’ at Station Medicare Centre for families of defence personnel, as well as for veterans and their families. The occasion is to commemorate the brave contribution of our personnel during Kargil Operations 20 years ago.
The camp was inaugurated by Air Officer Commanding Air Commodore V M Reddy Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jamnagar and Aruna Reddy President AFWWA (L) Air Force Station Jamnagar.
The team of professionals included Dr Amit J Mehta, Dr Ruchir Mehta and Dr Neha R Mehta, Ophthalmologists at Jamnagar. In spite of rainy weather large number of families and children, from the Station, Indian Army and Veterans, attended the camp.
