Jaisalmer Military station celebrates Van Mahotsav

In line with its commitment towards social and environmental causes, the ‘Battle Axe’ Division celebrated Van Mahotsav at Jaisalmer Military Station today.

The annual tree planting festival is celebrated all over the country in the month of July with an aim to create awareness among people for increasing the forest cover and preserving the environment.

The soldiers and families of Battle Axe Division planted around 2,000 saplings in the station and pledged to work together for a green and healthy future for everyone. The Saplings were provided by Forest Department, Jaisalmer and the Territorial Army (Eco) Battalion.
