Indian Navy ship Shardul returned from Bandar Abbas, Iran carrying 233 Indians.
The Indian embassy in Tehran had coordinated the movement of personnel within Iran. Passangers spent three days at sea during the passage from Iran to India where they were provided basic amenities and medical facilities as per Covid-19 protocols promulgated by the Government of India en-route to Porbandar.
The state and district administration received the passangers and made arrangements for their further movement.
