INIFD annual fashion show tribute to bollywood
It’s the time for the models to hit the ramp and groove like a bollywood queen as INIFD Baroda is all set for their Grand Annual Awards Night & Fashion Show – SPECTRUM 2018. This year the students design their creations on the theme of bollywood and the highlight of the show is tribute to iconic Sridevi.
This year the INIFD centre take their theme as Bollywood – A name synonymous with glamour and fashion. Every youngster wants to copy the style of bollywood divas and the idea is to give the fashion design students a feel of the industry.

The bollywood theme based fashion show will have 16 sequences with 12 well known models walk the ramp for the students of the final year. The creations are based on Make in India concept and some of the sequence have fabric manipulations to create beautiful designs showcasing the glam world of bollywood.
“We are proud to represent Bollywood in terms of breaking stereotypes and the looks inspired by not just what is known as mainstream Bollywood Cinema but also look inspired by many other genres of films that are being made today. The designs showcases unique looks inspired from the glam of the 70s films like Disco Dancer to current off-beat social films such as Taare Zameen Par, movies celebrating feminism and sports such as Mary Kom, conscience awakers like Pink and also classic elegance of stars such as Hema Malini, Deepika Padukone and a special tribute of love to Superstar Sridevi,” said Kamaldeep Sondhi Director INIFD Vadodara.
