Gift plants on birthday of employees, distribution of 100 trees per sarpanch, promotiing the cultivation of useful lemon plants in Corana
The whole world is celebrating Environment Day on 5th of June. 119 countries from all over the world took part in the World Environment Conference in 1972 held in Sweden on the problem of pollution due to lack of protection of the environment and expressed their concern to celebrate the World Environment on June 5. With this decision, the world understood the importance of planting trees and taking care of them.
Working on the same concept, Indo Amines company based in Tundav of Savli taluka of Vadodara, has been involved in taking care of trees for the last three years, 365 days a year. The employees of the company from Gujarat and Maharashtra Dombivali plant are directly connected with the concept of plant saplings for environment protection.
Indo Amines Company has come up with a unique concept to save the environment. Company directors Vijay Palkar and Rahul Palkar came up with the idea that planting trees is important to protect the environment from pollution. They linked the tree planting campaign with the birthdays of all 850 employees and decided to give two saplings to every employee of Gujarat and Maharashtra on their birthday. Every employee has been given two trees on his birthday for the last three years, where one is planted in the premises and another one is planted near their house. Thus taking this idea to celebrate the birthday of employees, Indo Amines is involved in caring the environment 365 days a year and it continues for the last three years.
Keyur Chitre, Working Director of Indo said that the country is currently facing the crisis of Covid 19 and hence no program has been organised for Environment Day. But 11,000 different saplings will be given away free of cost to many NGOs and individual environmentalists working in tree plantation including local areas on this day.
Amines Company will distribute 100 plants per Sanrapanch to 25 villages including Tundav, Rania, Gothda in Savli Taluka. Tree plantation also will be there at the Bhadarwa police station and the sarpanchs in rural areas will engage children for plantation if saplings. Witnessing the importance of planting lemons in rural areas is very useful, the company will provide 1100 lemons in rural areas, especially to women, so that they can grow them and use.
This is probably the first unique campaign of any private company to protect the environment. The balance of the environment plays an important role in the survival of life. In this age of human upliftment, cutting down trees and pollution are dangerous and in the midst of all these ngative activities, Indo Amines Company has been conducting tree planting campaigns for the last three years to save the environment and put forward a example before others.
