India's pride Mithali Raj received BMW in gift

Businessman V Chamundeswaranath fulfilled his promise of gifting BMW to Indian women's team skipper Mithali Raj on Tuesday, as a reward for her team's performance in the recently concluded Women's World Cup in England.

Chamundeshwarnath himself is the captain of the Ranji team of Andhra Pradesh, has been car gifting to players on several occasions in the last few years. Chamundeshwarnath told Mithali Raj about the car gift for her performance during World Cup.

From Prime Minister to legendary celebrities all praised the players for their game and addressed as daughters of India. All the players were honored by the BCCI, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met the players.

Chamundeswaranath had ealier gifted a BMW each to India's star performers at the 2016 Rio Olympics. PV Sindhu (Badminton Singles silver medallist), Sakshi Malik ( Women's Wrestling bronze medallist), Dipa Karmarkar ( Women's Gymnastics 4th spot finish) and Pullela Gopichand (Badminton coach) – were among the recipients
