PM Modi has met MPs from all of the north-eastern states, as well as the southern states and Madhya Pradesh, so far. According to sources published by news agency PTI, Prime Minister Modi would meet with roughly 40 MPs from Uttar Pradesh, after which he will meet with the remaining MPs from the state in a separate meeting. Elections in Uttar Pradesh are expected to take place early next year.

According to MPs, these discussions were casual and did not have a defined agenda.

PM Modi advised party MPs to engage more with people outside of political activities and avoid VIP culture during all of the meetings, they said.

When Parliament was in session in the past, PM Modi held separate talks with BJP MPs in different batches.
