Two terrorists killed in an encounter in Machil area of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir
The identity of two slain terrorists is being ascertained
In Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces near Pichnad in Machil area of Kupwara district today.
According to police, a joint team of Army and J&K Police launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Machil area after having credible inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.
As the joint team approached the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists opened fire on security forces triggering the encounter.
The identity of two slain terrorists is being ascertained.
