10 Devotees Dead, Including 7 Children, in Dausa Road Mishap
A devastating road accident took place in Dausa district of Rajasthan, where a pickup vehicle carrying devotees returning from Khatu Shyam temple collided head-on with a truck. The collision resulted in the death of 10 people, including 7 children and 3 women, while around 10 others sustained serious injuries.
According to police officials, the victims were returning after visiting the Khatu Shyam temple, a popular pilgrimage site. Following the collision, 7 to 8 severely injured individuals were shifted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur for treatment.
Authorities have stated that the identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. All bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and efforts are underway to notify the families after proper identification.
Local police have begun investigating the incident and are questioning witnesses and locals near the accident site. A case has been registered, and further legal action will be taken based on the post-mortem reports.
