Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) recipients today (January 24, 2022).

Digital certificates for the years 2022 and 2021 will be awarded on PMRBP grantees utilising Blockchain Technology during the video conferencing, which is set to commence at 12 p.m.

This technology is being used for the first time to give certificates to honorees, according to the Prime Minister's Office.

The PMRBP award has been given by the Indian government to children for their outstanding achievements in six categories: Innovation, Social Service, Scholastic, Sports, Art & Culture, and Bravery.

This year, 29 youngsters from throughout the country were chosen for PMRBP-2022 under various Bal Shakti Puraskar categories.

Every year, the honorees march in the Republic Day parade.

A medal, a monetary prize of Rs 1 lakh, and a certificate are given to each PMRBP awardee.
