President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the 18th National Scout and Guide Jamboree, at Rohat in the Pali district of Rajasthan today.

The President reached Jaipur yesterday on a two-day visit to the state.

Rajasthan is hosting Jamboree after 66 years. Over 35,000 scouts and guides from all over the country will participate in this 7-day mega-event.

A smart jamboree village has been set up with all the facilities on a two hundred twenty hectare area at Nimblee village 3500 tents have been erected at the venue.

The attraction of the event will be the display of the Indian Airforce Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team.

Besides this, there will also be a demonstration by the BSF Camel Squad. Various competitions and Activities will be organized during the event.

National Jamboree will give a platform to young scouts to share their customs, food habits, handicrafts, and religious practices with each other.

President Draupadi Murmu meditated at Gyansarovar of Brahmakumari Sansthan in Mount Abu on the second day of her visit to Rajasthan today.

She will also visit Pandav Bhavan of Brahmakumari Sansthan later. In the afternoon, she will leave for Pali from Abu Road's Manpur airstrip.
