Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government is working tirelessly to provide free food grains, medicines and basic amenities to take the country forward. He said, now the country has determined to become a developed nation by 2047 and is making efforts to fulfil this dream.

The Prime Minister today virtually interacted with beneficiaries of central government’s welfare schemes under the outreach programme Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The aim of the Yatra is to attain saturation of flagship schemes by ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach to all the targeted beneficiaries in a time bound manner.

Highlighting the success of this mega outreach campaign, Mr. Modi said, people wholeheartedly welcome the Information, Education and Communication vans in their area and this is called as Modi’s guarantee vehicle.

He said, these vans have covered 12 thousand panchayats and reached to 30 lakh people across the country so far. He said, the government has decided to provide free food grains to the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for a period of five years which is Modi’s guarantee.

The Prime Minister said, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was launched on 15th of this month from Jharkhand and it aims to extend government schemes and services to those who have been left out till now.

He said, the resolution of a developed India rests on four Amrit pillars which include women power, youth power, farmers and poor families.

The Prime Minister said, upliftment of women, youth, farmers and poor will make the country developed. He criticized the previous government for neglecting the aspirations of people and not providing them basic amenities.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister also launched Drone Didi scheme. Terming this scheme Namo Drone Didi, Mr. Modi said, under the initiative, drones will be provided to 15 thousand Women Self Help Groups so that this technology can be used by them in Agriculture sector. He said, women will be provided necessary training to fly and use drones under the scheme.

During the programme, Prime Minister also dedicated the 10,000th Jan Aushadi Kendra at AIIMS, Deoghar. Prime Minister also launched the programme to increase the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras in the country from 10 thousand to 25 thousand. Mr. Modi said, Jan Aushadhi Kendras are providing affordable medicines to the people.

Speaking on this occasion, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, it is a vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country a developed nation by 2047 and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will play instrumental role in this direction.
