Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Azamgarh from Varanasi today on the second day of his two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, where he will inaugurate the airport in Azamgarh.

Along with this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development projects worth 42 thousand crore rupees for the country and the state.

He will also address a public meeting near the airstrip in Azamgarh district and will also visit Suheldev State University. Along with promoting the civil aviation sector in Azamgarh, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Light House Project in Lucknow and Ranchi, under which more than two thousand affordable flats will be built with modern infrastructure. 

Along with this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many road projects worth more than 19 thousand crore rupees in Uttar Pradesh.

PM Modi will dedicate to the nation about 744 rural road projects worth more than Rs 3700 crore constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, in which the overall construction of more than 5400 kilometres of roads will be done in Uttar Pradesh. 

During the programme, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several railway projects worth about 8,200 crore rupees, which will strengthen the railway infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate a rail bridge over the river Ganga and a new rail line from Ghazipur City and Gazipur Ghat to Tarighat.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and dedicate several sewage treatment plants and other such projects in Prayagraj, Jaunpur and Etawah.
