Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of developmental projects over 32000 crore rupees in Jammu today.
The projects relate to several sectors including health, education, rail, road, aviation, petroleum, and civic infrastructure, among others.
During the programme, Prime Minister Modi will distribute appointment orders to about 1500 new Government recruits of Jammu and Kashmir.
He will also interact with beneficiaries of various government schemes as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu’ programme.
The Prime Minister will address a massive rally signaling the launch of BJP’s campaign for parliamentary elections in J&K.
Prominent among these are, the Pahari Community and three other tribes who have been granted Scheduled Tribe status recently, Other Backward Classes who were given representation in Panchayats and Municipalities, and Valmikis who were included in the Scheduled Caste category in just ended budget session of the Parliament after a long wait of several decades.
