Over 72 crore 37 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in country so far

Over 72 crore 37 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

In the last 24 hours, more than 67 lakh 58 thousand vaccine doses were administered. Around 35 thousand new COVID-19 cases were reported while more than 37 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours. 260 people lost their lives during the period.

Till now, more than three crore 23 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. Union Health Ministry said, the COVID recovery rate in the country now stands at 97.49 percent. The active caseload stands at over three lakh 90 thousand.

Over 17 lakh 87 thousand COVID tests were conducted yesterday. So far, 53 crore 86 lakh tests have been conducted in the country.
