A C-17 flight carrying 392 passengers from Sudan reached New Delhi yesterday.

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said in a tweet that another Operation Kaveri flight touched down in Bengaluru last evening with 362 Indians.

Meanwhile, two IAF C-130 J flights carrying a total of 270 passengers reached Jeddah last night.

INS Sumedha also departed from Port Sudan with 300 passengers onboard for Jeddah In a tweet, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that nearly 2400 Indians evacuated so far after the departure of the 13th batch of stranded Indians under Operation Kaveri.
