Kejriwal arrest: INDIA alliance to conduct mega rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31

Condemning the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate in an excise policy case, the Opposition’s INDIA alliance will organise a mega rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31.

Addressing a press conference, INDIA leaders said the protest is to save the Constitution and democracy of the country.

Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Rai said, “The way Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested, there is anger in the hearts of people across the nation who love and respect the constitution.”

Arvinder Singh Lovely, the Congress's Delhi unit chief, alleged that opposition parties are not being given a level playing field.

Delhi minister Atishi said, “The rally is not being organised to save Arvind Kejriwal but to save the democracy. The opposition is facing one-sided attacks.”
