On Friday, the funeral procession for CDS Gen Bipin Rawat begins at his residence and ends from the Brar Square crematorium in Delhi Cantonment (December 10, 2021).

CDS Gen Bipin Rawat, who died in an IAF chopper crash near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu, was remembered by Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. On Friday, prominent Congressman Mallikarjun Kharge, former Defense Secretary AK Antony, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid respect to CDS Gen Rawat (December 10, 2021).

At Brar Square in Delhi Cantt today, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and others paid respect to Brig LS Lidder. In Delhi, Army Chief Gen MM Naravane, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, and Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari paid respect to Brig LS Lidder.

General Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), and his wife Madhulika Rawat will be laid to rest today around 5 p.m. at the Brar Square crematorium in Delhi Cantonment. General Rawat's death rites will be administered with full military honours.
