India Commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas: A Tribute to Valor and Sacrifice

On this day, India celebrates the victory of its soldiers who fought bravely to reclaim the territory that was infiltrated by Pakistani forces in the Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Kargil War, which lasted for nearly three months, was one of the most intense and challenging military confrontations in recent history.
