In Jammu and Kashmir, one terrorist was killed and another were captured

In the ongoing confrontation in the Chawalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, one terrorist has been killed. There are supposed to be two or three more terrorists in the neighbourhood. The CRPF and the police have launched a coordinated operation.
The operation began on November 11th, after security personnel got information regarding the presence of terrorists in the region.
A police officer said, "As joint searching team of forces cordoned the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon searching party which was retaliated and an encounter started."
In a tweet, the Kashmir zone police said, "#Encounter has started at #Chawalgam area of #Kulgam. Further details shall follow."
One terrorist was killed in the initial shootout, according to the police.
According to a police source, although intelligence information indicates there are two or three terrorists trapped, the exact number will be known once the operation is completed.
