Hindustan Zinc re-iterates commitment to work for development in Gujarat Hindustan Zinc as part of the Vedanta Group will remain invested in Gujarat and re-iterates its commitment to work for the community along with the government to create enhanced social impact in the states.

The Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb) Managing Director, Neelam Rani said, "It is unfortunate what happened at Doswada in Tapi district. The need of the hour is to create jobs, bring employment and strengthen economic development in the state, especially in the post pandemic world. We are committed to creating a conducive environment for industry to grow and will extend support to ensure ease of business. As a responsible government body, the welfare of our communities and focus on environment will always remain a top priority and we will ensure that best standards are followed."

villages in the country. Additionally, the Group's flagship project Nandghar for children and women development will also be brought to the villages in the district with a focus on their health, education and empowerment. The company will work with the communities to bring interventions that will enable better standard of living and enhanced quality of life.
