Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Jammu today to take part in credit outreach and financial inclusion programme. She is on a two day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

Yesterday, Ms Sitharaman inaugurated development projects worth 165 crore rupees in Srinagar. These include Jhelum and Tawi flood recovery projects. The Union minister inaugurated work pertaining to health, education, urban infrastructure and disaster management amounting to 130.49 crore rupees. She also inaugurated the Chinar, a new Ayakar Bhawan-cum-residential complex at Rajbagh in Srinagar in the presence of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
