On Monday morning, a big fire was reported at a godown in Mumbai's Ghatkopar neighbourhood, but no one was injured, according to civic officials.

According to officials, the fire started at 10.30 a.m. in the shop at D'Silva Compound in the Sunder Baug neighbourhood of Asalfa community.

According to a local official, at least four fire engines and water tankers were dispatched to the scene, and firefighting is still ongoing.

"There was no report of injury to anyone," the official said.

He added that after being alerted, police and ward staff were on the scene, as well as ambulances.

He stated the cause of the fire had yet to be determined.
