Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the people of the country will give a huge mandate to the BJP in the upcoming General Elections adding that the NDA will cross the 400 mark and BJP itself will get 370 seats.

He stressed that his Government will make very big decisions in the third term.

The Prime Minister stressed that India will become the third-largest economy in the world in the next term of the NDA government.

He called it the guarantee of Narendra Modi. He was replying to the discussion in Lok Sabha on Motion of Thanks to the President's address to the joint sitting of both the Houses.

The Prime Minister said, the empowerment of women, youth, farmers and the poor will ensure the fulfillment of the goals of Viksit Bharat.

He said, President Droupadi Murmu’s address focused on these four pillars, and strengthening these pillars will ensure the development of the country.

He said, the world is now appreciating the speed and scale of economic growth of India.

Highlighting the achievements by the government, PM Modi said, several bold initiatives have been taken to tame inflation, boost economic growth, record capital expenditure on building infrastructure, and generate employment opportunities.

PM. Modi hailed 'Nari Shakti', emphasising that women's empowerment can be seen everywhere today, from space to the Olympics, and Sashastra Bal to Sansad.

Highlighting the growth and potential of the country, PM. Modi said, India is now considered the digital economy of the world.

He said, the country is witnessing record manufacturing and exports under the Made in India programme. He said, the tourism sector has the potential of creating crores of employment opportunities.

The Prime Minister criticized the opposition parties for ignoring the achievements made by the country in the past ten years.

He said, nepotism in political parties is a cause of concern for the entire country and a threat to democracy.

He said, Congress is to be blamed for the present position of the opposition parties.

He alleged that Congress failed to play the role of strong opposition and did not allow other parties to flourish.

PM. Modi reiterated that the country needs a strong opposition. He also criticised the previous UPA government for rampant corruption in their tenure.

Later, the House adopted the Motion of Thanks to the President's address by voice vote negating opposition members' amendments. After completing business, the House was adjourned for the day.
