Sleuths from Central Bureau of Investigation have begun search at the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in relation with the Delhi excise case.
According to reports, searches are being conducted at 20 places in Delhi and adjoining areas in relation with the case.
In a series of tweets, Sisodia said, "CBI has come. We are extremely honest. Making the future of millions of children. It is very unfortunate that those who do good work in our country are harassed like this. That is why our country has not yet become number one."
Sisodia added that he would give full cooperation to the investigation agency and said though many cases have been registered against him, nothing has come out of it.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also extended support to his deputy. He tweeted that the CBI has entered Manish's residence on the same day when Sisodia's picture got carried on the front page of New York Times and Delhi's education model was getting praised.
