The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced that it will release its Lok Sabha polls manifesto at the party headquarters in Delhi on Sunday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to reports, the party’s manifesto committee chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has already held two meetings and has received over 1.5 millions suggestions from the public.

More than 400,000 suggestions were received through the NaMo app.

Quoting BJP sources, sources reported on Saturday that the manifesto will focus on development, a prosperous India, women, youth, the poor and the farmers.

The theme of the manifesto will be ‘Modi's Guarantee: Developed India 2047’ with a focus on cultural nationalism, it said.

The 24-member manifesto committee has Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as coordinator and Union Minister Piyush Goyal as the co-coordinator.
