BJP General Secretary and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, briefing media after the National Executive Committee Meeting, informed that the Prime Minister told all party workers to work for the betterment of people saying the Party is moving ahead with the issues related to people.

He said, election strategy for poll-bound states and the achievements of BJP-ruled State Governments were discussed at the National Executive Committee Meeting.

Mr Yadav said, Chief Ministers and Party Chiefs of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur gave a detailed report of their achievements in the last five years. He said, BJP will contest all seats in Punjab and Party's State Unit President gave a report on the preparations for the ensuing Assembly polls.

During the day-long meeting, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath proposed the political resolution.

The resolution praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and accused the Opposition of opportunism and a mindset of extreme hate. The resolution lauded India's position on climate change in the COP-26 at Glasgow. It said, India is setting new standards of success globally under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the Opposition was busy derailing the COVID-19 vaccination programme by making every effort and conspiracies and spreading disinformation.

In the resolution, party attacked Trinamool Congress for sponsored violence in West Bengal against BJP workers and vowed to ensure justice through legal means. The resolution also said, a chapter of security, peace and development has opened in Jammu and Kashmir.

It said, the BJP has put up an admirable performance in the Assembly polls in Bihar, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and West Bengal and numerous By-Polls and local elections. It said, this shows the party-run governments and bodies have lived up to people's expectations. In the resolution, the party resolved to ensure victory in the Assembly Elections slated early next year.
