Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Ayodhya. At the Ramkatha Park helipad, he welcomed actors portraying Lord Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman, who arrived in a helicopter designed to resemble the mythical Pushpak Viman.

The celebrations began with prayers offered to Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, followed by a symbolic Bharat Milap ceremony. On the main stage at Ramkatha Park, CM Yogi Adityanath performed the royal coronation (Rajyabhishek) of Lord Ram. During the coronation, the entire park echoed with chants of "Jai Shri Ram".

The Chief Minister applied tilak and offered garlands to Lord Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna, and Guru Vashistha. He then led a grand aarti ceremony. Later, CM Yogi visited the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir and offered prayers to Ram Lalla.

The celebrations also included mesmerizing laser and drone shows, which captivated thousands of attendees, adding a modern touch to the spiritual and cultural grandeur of Deepotsav.
