India beat West Indies by an innings and 92 runs on day 4 of the first Test match in Antigua. With this win, India registered their biggest Test win outside Asia.

Off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took 7 wickets in the second innings of West Indies. Indian captain Virat Kohli also scored the first double century in the 1st innings.

Virat Kohli said to the media after 1st test that, “Every game for us is a new game, we are not connecting previous game to the next one. We want to win as many games in the series as possible. If we have a chance to win all four, why not? We want to create winning habits, winning is contagious.”

This was Anil Kumble’s first match as Indian Cricket Team coach.
