HQ, Porbandar received information from MRCC (Mumbai) regarding medical
emergency onboard MV Fortune Wing at high seas. A Myanmar national Myo San age
39 yrs was seriously injured and required evacuation.

On receipt
of information, ICG ship C-445 sailed out at 1300 hrs for medical evacuation
which was carried out 78 nm off Porbandar coast at 1845 hrs on 10 Jan. The
patient was disembarked at Coast Guard jetty and handed over to local agent at
the midnight of 11 Jan in stable condition. He was later shifted to Rajkot by
road.
