league encounter of the ICC U-19 World Cup cricket at Bloemfontein in South

Batting
first, India scored a competitive 297 for 4, with the help of half-centuries
from their premier batsmen opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and skipper Priyam Garg.

Chasing a
victory target of 298, Sri Lanka was all out for 207 runs in 45.2 overs. For
Sri Lanka, Ravindu Rasantha scored 49 and Nipun Dananjaya 47 runs.

For India,
fast bowler Kartik Tyagi took 1 wicket while Ravi Bishnoi and Akash Singh took
two wickets each. India will next take on Japan on Tuesday.
