Inauguration of Memorial Flag at Derol and Godhra Railway Station by MP Ratansinh Rathore

To improve the beauty of the railway station, memorial flags are being installed at the railway stations of Vadodara Division. This initiative is being taken to create a sense of pride among the passengers and to improve the feeling of nationalism.

The National Memorial Flag was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Ratansinh Rathore on 23.01.2021 on the occasion of Parakram Divas at Derol and Godhra Railway Stations of Vadodara Division. Divisional Railway Manager Devendra Kumar, other railway officers and employees were present during this programme.

Memorial flags have already been installed at Vadodara, Anand, Kevadia and Champaner railway stations of Vadodara Division. As a memorial at all these railway stations, the national flag was hoisted 30 feet long and 20 feet wide at 100 feet high pole. The estimated cost of a flag is Rs. 10 lakhs.

Monumental flags will also be installed at Bharuch, Chotaudepur, Nadiad and Dakor stations of the division.
