Implementation of the instructions given by District Collector

Training provided to rural doctors and lab technicians at Sayaji hospital

As part of preventive steps against Coronavirus there is a need to prepare a team who can collect the samples as per standard guidelines from the rural areas. Based on that a training camp was organised at SSG hospital ENT department on the instructions of District Collector. 17 doctors and 17 technicians working with District Health Department from rural area get training about collection of suspected Coronavirus samples for testing.

The District Collector has taken various steps, including health surveillance, to prevent Corona in the rural areas through the District Health System. Intensive health surveys is also done at the 8 villages of Karjan declared as core area and buffer zone. The training is to prepare the team to effectively conduct checking in the rural areas.
