Hub is organising its 9th Annual Art Show

Hub is an Art Movement started in 2008, to keep the flame of creativity alive and to stay rooted to one’s past. It organizes Art Exhibitions, Art Camps, Training and Scholarships to needy young artists.

Over a period of last 9 years it has earned a reputation of being the most consistent and impressive Art Movement in Vadodara. Prominent Artists from Vadodara exhibit their works along with the young talent to promote the spirit of togetherness.

Keeping the tradition, HUB is organising its 9th Annual Show, which will be held at the Exhibition Hall, Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaji Sayajirao University, Vadodara. The show will be inaugurated by Dr. Vinod Rao (IAS), Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara on the 31st January 2017, and will continue on the 1st and 2nd February 2017.

The theme for this year’s annual show is, City to Art, and Art to Life. “The Sanskar Nagri Vadodara has provided a perfect environment for art to flourish over the years. Now is the time to use art to improve life in the city” says Mr. Premraj Keshyep (Rastogi), MD of renowned Indo-Japanese venture KYB-CONMAT and Co-Founder of the Hub.

HUB 2017 is dedicated to the cause for special children of Disha and to the memory of Padma Vibhushan Shri K. G. Subramanyan, ‘Mani Da’, who has been an integral part of the Fine Arts Faculty of the M. S. University, Vadodara, and honoured this city by choosing it to be his home.

The guest of honour for the event is Smt. Uma Subramanyan, daughter of ‘Manida’. 139 artists from all over India are displaying their paintings, sculptures and printmaking. “This year, proceeds from the exhibition will go towards Disha Special School and Autism Centre, an organization working actively to provide direction, hope and a channelized path for development and growth for specially-abled children” informs Rahul Mukherjee, Artist and Co-Founder of HUB.
