Hemant Soren will take oath as 11th Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Sunday. The oath taking ceremony will be held at Morhabadi ground in afternoon. Congress leader Alamgir Alam and Rameshwar Urao will also take oath as ministers in the ceremony.

The ceremony will be attended by big leaders which includes former President Pranav Mukherjee. Top leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, M. K. Stalin, Jiten Manjhi gives their nod to attend the ceremony. Chief Ministers from Congress ruled states are also expected to attend the ceremony. West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee already reached Ranchi on Saturday night and met Hemant Soren.

The results of Jharkhand assembly elections were declared on 23rd December where JMM registered big win with 30 seats followed by Congress won in 16 seats. Jharkhand Vikas Morcha won 3 seats and AJSU captured two followed by RJD, NCP and CPI wins in one seat each. BJP won in 25 seats in the elections and independent gets two seats.
