Senate member Narendra Rawat walked out from the meeting following the incident

A Senate meeting was held at Vadodara Maharaja Sayajirao University on a budget of Rs 342 crore. Heated arguments were seen on the issue of selling properties was raised at the meeting. Senate member Narendra Rawat walked out from the meeting following the incident.

As per avaliable details Maharaja Sayajirao University’s budget of Rs 342 crore was presented to the Senate for approval. Earlier in the session heated arguments were seen after senate member Narendra Rawat alleged that BJP-inspired members for selling valuable university lands.

Narendra Rawat, Mehul Lakhani and Mayank Patel came face to face in the meeting and one point the senate members argued with each other. Vice Chancellor was forced to intervene as the situation seems to be getting out of control.

However, the senate members were adamant and Narendra Rawat was sticking to the allegation that valuable university properties were being sold by BJP-inspired members. Despite the intervention by the Vice Chancellor they stuck to their point and finally Congress-inspired member Narendra Rawat walked out of the Senate meeting.

For the first time in the history of Maharaja Sayajirao University, the Senate meeting was held at the head office in BBA building of Faculty of Commerce. Ahead of the budget meeting, syndicate member Hasmukh Vaghela and vigilance department staff clashed over parking. Syndicate member Dinesh Yadav rushed to the spot intervened and settled the matter.
