The HADR efforts in Uttarakhand continued as per the requirements of the district administration and coordination agencies.
Mi 17s were used to transport NDRF personnel and 450 Kg of rescue load from Jolly Grant to Joshimath. ALH were used for ariel reconnaissance of the affected areas by DRDO scientists.
The IAF is actively looking at more landing grounds which will support Chinook operations to enable transportation of load if required.
Gauchar ALG has been successfully activated for operations, if required.
