Woman saree save one of the two youth fell inside Narmada canal near Vadodara SUB Another one shifted to hospital in serious condition

A woman gives her saree to save one of the two boys fell fell inside the Narmada canal passing from Gorwa Panchvati towards Ankodiya. As per eyewitness they heard the cities of boys and rushed to the spot. With the help of saree they managed to save one while the another one was rescued by fire Brigade and shifted to hospital in serious condition.

As per available details, the boys reached the Gorwa Panchvati Canal towards Ankodiya on their cycle and said to be fell inside while making fun of each other. Both shouted for help and two persons standing nearby rushed to them and managed to save one.

"As per routine I came to collect flowers and having tea when we heard cries of boys. We rushed to the spot and with the help of a saree given by a lady managed to save one. We try to search for the other boy but failed to locate and informed the fire Brigade and police. The youth was later rescued by the fire brigade and shifted to hospital in serious condition.

Former councillor Rajesh Aiyre also reached the spot and helped in rescue efforts. He request all parents to keep a watch on their children as youths from nearby residences often visit in this area due to its greenery and natural ambience. Luckily two persons present there managed to saved one boy and another one rescued by fire Brigade later and shifted to hospital in serious condition.

Police is further investigating in the matter.
